2021年6月1日下午，迈图讲坛第二期（迈图英语沙龙）邀请了拓比电子技术（苏州）有限公司总经理Janne Pihlajaniemi先生为我们分享“苏州外资企业常见法律问题及解决途径“的谈论会。我所涉外律师团队及远道从苏州新区赶来的Dominic Desmarais先生参加了本次沙龙。

On the afternoon of June 1^st, 2021, the second MyDo Forum (MyDo Legal English &Legal Culture Salon) was honored to invite Mr. Janne Pihlajaniemi, general manager of Tobii Electronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. to share his experience and ideas about "Common legal problems and solutions for foreign-owned (WOFE) enterprises in Suzhou" with us. The legal team of foreign-related matters and Mr. Dominic Desmarais, who came all the way from SND participated in this salon.

拓比公司总部位于瑞典，拓比（苏州）则于2008年在苏州扎根，研发并生产眼球追踪系列等高科技产品，致力于帮助患有脑瘫、自闭症、脊椎受损等人士通过其产品在日常生活中更好的沟通、交流。而作为拓比（苏州）的总经理，Janne Pihlajaniemi先生在本次沙龙中分享了在公司运营过程中遇到的一系列法律问题：专利侵权、劳动争议、国际商事仲裁、税法等纠纷。本次沙龙的参与者Dominic Desmarais先生也提出并与我所律师讨论了其所遇到的商事合同纠纷等问题。

Headquartered in Sweden, Tobii (Suzhou) was established in Suzhou in 2008. It develops and produces high-tech products like eye-tracking devices and is committed to helping people with brain paralysis, autism, spinal damage, etc. to have a better daily life through its products. As the general manager of Tobii (Suzhou), Mr. Janne Pihlajaniemi shared many legal issues affecting Tobii's concerns: patent infringement, labor disputes, international commercial arbitration, tax law and other disputes. Mr.Desmarais, a participant of this salon, also raised and discussed with our lawyers the commercial contract disputes he was previously involved with.

沙龙前半部分为嘉宾分享，后半部分我所律师则与嘉宾提到的各种法律问题及解决方式进行了讨论。鉴于对拓比公司研发技术和产品的好奇，随后我所律师与Janne Pihlajaniemi先生请教并讨论了眼球追踪技术产品的应用等有趣的话题。

The first half of the salon was sharing by the guests, and in the second half, MyDo lawyers discussed various legal issues and solutions mentioned byMr. Pihlajaniemi and Mr. Desmarais. Due to the curiosity about Tobii's technology and products, some lawyers discussed interesting topics such as the application of eye-tracking technology products in daily life with Mr. Pihlajaniemi.

本次沙龙通过与嘉宾的充分交流，不仅让我所律师更新了对外商在中国所面临法律问题的视野，为之后我所提供全方面、高质量涉外法律服务提供了新的思路；同时也拓展了律师们对高科技、新技术等知识的了解，可谓收获满满。

Through sharing and changing ideas with Mr. Pihlajaniemi and Mr. Desmarais, this salon not only updates lawyers’ vision of the legal issues faced by foreign-owned companies and foreign businessmen in China, which benefits us to provide better legal service for them in the future; at the same time, it also enriches the participants knowledge about recent high-technology as well as the larger context in which lawyers operate.
